Bakel

L'ultima gara di Euro Cup a Bakel in Olanda è come sempre una delle più belle ed entusiasmanti, questa volta ci hanno fatto compagnia i ragazzi del Centro Disel con il loro E Mostar, il sabato abbiamo guardato la gara del campionato la gara del campionato Olandese e subito abbiamo notato che il terreno era abbastanza duro, e abbiamo cercato di bilanciare la macchina per questo tipo di pista.

La Domenica tutto era a punto e la partenza è stata buona ed il bilanciamento erà ottimo poi a 98mt un ingranaggio del cambio ha ceduto e purtroppo la nostra gara è finita.

Già sono in programma tante modifiche per quest'inverno, e speriamo di essere più competitivi per il prossimo anno.

Ekerod

Eccoci di ritorno dalla trasferta di Ekerod in Svezia, penultima tappa dell' Euro Cup, la pista non era delle migliori ma la qualifica è andata piuttosto bene e siamo riusciti ad arrivare alla linea dei 100mt, in finale tutto sembrava andare per il meglio visto che lo Starlight sembrava aver preso una buona velocità, poi una brusca sterzata, probabilmente causata da una differenza di grip in pista ha costretto Romano a chiudere il gas e ci siamo fermati a 74,69mt, una sesta posizione che comunque ci rende felici, visto che le modifiche apportate hanno funzionato bene.

Here we are back from trip to Ekerod in Sweden the penultimate pull of the Euro Cup, the track was not the best, but the qualify is gone quite well and we make Full Pull, in the Pull Off all start good and Starlight have taken good speed, after Starilght go on side and Romano close the throttle for don't go out and we stopped and 74,69mt, a sixth position that makes us happy.

Ready for Ekerod

Finalmente Starlight è partito per la Svezia, il lavoro è stato tanto dopo la rottura a Casatenovo dove un riduttore si è sbriciolato, un grande ringraziamento va ha Green Spirit, Popeye e Ouragan che ci hanno fornito i pezzi di ricambio in tempi brevissimi.

Finally Starlight is on way for Sweden, the work was too much after the break in Casatenovo where a planetary is going in pieces, a Big thank you has to be Green Spirit, Popeye and Ouragan, that have shipped us the spare parts quickly.

Lonato 2011

Lonato del Garda è stata la nostra unica tappa Italiana della stagione 2011 ; abbiamo cercato di settare nel miglior modo possibile il trattore per la slitta italiana ma la diversità da quella europea è talmente tanta che non è stata cosa facile. La qualifica è stata solo una proforma visto il peso in slitta; nella finale causa errore di valutazione nel settaggio della slitta , sia lo Starlight, Fournohemi che il Tornado hanno fatto Full Pull così è venuta la volta dei Super pull off. La vittoria è andata al Tornado con circa un metro in più dello Starlight, ma la lotta è stata davvero dura. Una volta arrivati a casa abbiamo scoperto che qualche cosa nel differenziale si era rotto. I danni sono probabilmente causati dalla slitta che non permette di prendere velocità nei primi metri ed il risultato sono delle tirate che durano circa il doppio rispetto a quelle in Europa così da mettere in crisi tutta la macchina.

Lonato was our only Italian pull of the 2011 season, we tried to set the best possible the tractor for the Italian sled but there are a lot of difference from the European one and that it was not easy. The qualification was only a pro forma whit a light sled setting; in the pull off was made an error in the setting of the sled and the Starlight, Tornado and Fournohemi did Full Pull, it came the turn of the Super pull off. The victory went to the Tornado with about one meter abovethe Starlight, but the fight was really tough. Once we got home we discovered that something was broken in the differential. The damage is probably caused by the slide that didn't allows at the tractors to pick up speed in the first few meters and are the result of the duration of pull was twice as much as those in Europe so as to over stress all the tractors.

Ciao a tutti, volevo avvisarvi che anche quest'anno lo Starlight sarà presente alla gara di Lonato del Garda per provare le ultime modifiche apportate in vista della gara di Ekerod in Svezia.

Finalmente dopo 2 settimane di lavoro per risolvere i problemi al cambio avuti a Bernay siamo pronti per partire alla volta di Made in Olanda sperando di fare bella figura come in Francia

Finally after 2 weeks of job for fit the problems at the gearbox had in Bernay, the Starlight Express 3 is ready to leave for Made in Holland hoping to do well has in France

First podium in Europe

Finalmente tanti sforzi sono stati ripagati con il primo podio in Europa, anche se abbiamo ancora tanto da migliorare, a partire dall'assetto che a Fuchtorf non è stato dei migliori ed alla drive-line che ha subito danni ma non sappiamo ancora dove!

Finally, many efforts have been rewarded with our first podium in Europe, we still have much to improve ,since the balancing that in Fuchtorf was not the best and drive-line has been damaged but we do not know where !

Il Motorhome prende forma

Finalmente dopo circa un mese il motorhome è tornato e comincia a prendere forma ma il lavoro è ancora tanto, ancora non sono finiti i lavori vicino allo Starlight e la prima gara a Fuchtorf incalza sempre più, ci sarà da rimboccarsi le maniche.
