Lonato 2011

Lonato del Garda è stata la nostra unica tappa Italiana della stagione 2011 ; abbiamo cercato di settare nel miglior modo possibile il trattore per la slitta italiana ma la diversità da quella europea è talmente tanta che non è stata cosa facile. La qualifica è stata solo una proforma visto il peso in slitta; nella finale causa errore di valutazione nel settaggio della slitta , sia lo Starlight, Fournohemi che il Tornado hanno fatto Full Pull così è venuta la volta dei Super pull off. La vittoria è andata al Tornado con circa un metro in più dello Starlight, ma la lotta è stata davvero dura. Una volta arrivati a casa abbiamo scoperto che qualche cosa nel differenziale si era rotto. I danni sono probabilmente causati dalla slitta che non permette di prendere velocità nei primi metri ed il risultato sono delle tirate che durano circa il doppio rispetto a quelle in Europa così da mettere in crisi tutta la macchina.

Lonato was our only Italian pull of the 2011 season, we tried to set the best possible the tractor for the Italian sled but there are a lot of difference from the European one and that it was not easy. The qualification was only a pro forma whit a light sled setting; in the pull off was made an error in the setting of the sled and the Starlight, Tornado and Fournohemi did Full Pull, it came the turn of the Super pull off. The victory went to the Tornado with about one meter abovethe Starlight, but the fight was really tough. Once we got home we discovered that something was broken in the differential. The damage is probably caused by the slide that didn't allows at the tractors to pick up speed in the first few meters and are the result of the duration of pull was twice as much as those in Europe so as to over stress all the tractors.
